Концерт в Хеттингене. Проживание в школе, которое поначалу вызывало наше опасение, оказалось настолько комфортным и удобным, что в это трудно поверить. Здесь есть всё, что необходимо для полноценной хоровой жизни: репетиционный класс с изумительной акустикой, спортивный зал и море свободного времени. Единственное неудобство — ранний, в семь часов утра, завтрак, на который нам приходится ездить в расположенные совсем неподалёку от школы казармы Хардхайма. Утром в гости к детям забрёл немецкий кот. Он, как и положено школьному коту, оказался чрезвычайно любознательным: не поленился обойти все комнаты, тщательно всех обнюхать и всё разузнать. Его не испугало большое количество незнакомых детей, каждый из которых пытался подарить ему свою нежность и ласку. Видно было, что кот чрезвычайно избалован и привык к проявлению всеобщего внимания и любви. Свободным временем воспользовались для того, чтобы провести экватор, ведь, как это не печально, сегодня уже середина нашей поездки. Обедали в казармах, как всегда до отвала, а вечером, по пути на концерт, заехали в город Зайтенбахер, где посетили фирму по изготовлению так любимых нашими детьми мюслей. Исполнив в рекламных целях несколько рождественских песен, мы конечно же получили в подарок продукцию этой известной в Германии фирмы. Наше выступление на фирме напоминало обряд колядования, существовавший на Руси до начала двадцатого века. Тогда, более ста лет назад, было принято, чтобы дети, стоя перед окнами домов, исполняли рождественские песни и получали в награду за это различные сладости и угощения. Сегодня, в магазине Зайтенбахера, мы мало чем отличались от тех детей. Стоило хору исполнить всего две песни, как дары полились рекой и багажник автобуса заполнился мешками и коробками с мюслями. Блистательный концерт состоялся сегодня в городе Хеттинген. Это был, пожалуй, второй после выступления в городе Растштадт, безупречный концерт. Но, думаем, самым запоминающимся событием как для нашего хора, так и для и для хоровой общины, принимавшей нас в этот раз, останется совместный ужин в небольшом ресторанчике. Исполненный здесь «Вечерний звон» был особенным. Каждому посетителю непременно хотелось стать одним, пусть даже самым маленьким, колокольчиком в этом многоголосном перезвоне. Импровизация захватила и объединила всех, в который раз убедив нас в том, что общаясь на языке музыки, люди прекрасно понимают друг друга, не чувствуя ни преград, ни языковых барьеров.
