Церемония награждения проходила в историческом парке-музее «Россия — моя история». Несмотря на то, что этот крупнейший музейно-выставочный комплекс открылся шесть лет назад, наш хор пел здесь впервые. Всё было сегодня необычно: и дальняя дорога по северо-западному скоростному диаметру, напомнившая нам о временах долгих гастролей по Германии, и два комфортабельных автобуса компании «Маркатек», и новая концертная площадка. Международный конкурс рисунков «Моя Россия» проходит уже в шестой раз. С 1 января 2024 года по 1 марта 2024 в этом конкурсе мог принять участие любой ребёнок и подросток, чья работа соответствовала заявленной теме — «Духовное наследие России». Участники конкурса представили сюжеты, связанные с традициями и обычаями нашей многонациональной и многоконфессиональной страны. Жюри отсмотрело десять тысяч работ, присланных со всех регионов России, а также из Казахстана, Белоруссии и Армении. Число подписчиков страницы социальной группы «ВКонтакте» за время проведения конкурса приблизилось к восьмидесяти тысячам — настолько популярным стало это культурное мероприятие. В Петербург, на церемонию награждения, съехались финалисты от 6 до 17 лет. Участие в конкурсе для них — волнующее и значимое событие. Наш хор своим выступлением завершил церемонию награждения, исполнив пять сочинений. Большим сюрпризом для всех участников хора стала сегодня встреча с одним из наших выпускников — Владом Комаровым. На протяжении многих лет он был участником хора и прошёл вместе с нами длинный концертный путь. Однако, в сентябре 2023 года жизнь Влада резко изменилась, о чём он сообщил Вадиму Александровичу в небольшом сообщении: «Мне пришлось принимать довольно сложное решение, и, в конечном итоге, я сообщаю, что в ближайшее время буду учиться в Москве. Я обещаю обязательно следить за новостями Хоровой студии, концертами и гастролями. А когда будет возможность, обязательно приеду на концерт».
