Хор мальчиков Санкт-Петербурга принял участие в грандиозном проекте
Этой осенью петербуржцы увидели самую кассовую в истории кинематографа XX века ленту «Титаник» (1997) в новом формате — музыкальном шоу «Титаник-LIVE». Полная оцифрованная HD-версия фильма-катастрофы Джеймса Кэмерона «ожила» на большом экране БКЗ «Октябрьский» в сопровождении большого симфонического оркестра, кельтских инструментов, солистки и хора мальчиков Санкт-Петербурга. Как известно, уходящий 2016 год объявлен Юнеско «Годом кино». Поэтому участие концертного хора мальчиков в грандиозном проекте «Титаник-LIVE» — вдвойне значимое событие.
Работа хора над проектом началась в июне месяце. За лето был подготовлен к разучиванию весь нотный материал, объём которого составил более тридцати страниц. Уже 23 августа состоялась первая хоровая репетиция, на которой хор приступил к тщательной работе над партитурой. Работа велась параллельно с другими крупными проектами, такими как «Гаврилинский фестиваль», «Невские хоровые ассамблеи» и «Рождественская программа». Регулярно, на протяжении двух месяцев хор уделял час репетиционного времени музыке Джеймса Хорнера.
Первая репетиция с симфоническим дирижёром из Великобритании, господином Нейлом Уильямом Томсоном состоялась в помещении хоровой студии 16 октября и продемонстрировала высокую подготовку хора. Однако впереди были ещё две оркестровые репетиции: одна — в Доме Радио, другая, — в день премьеры проекта, — в БКЗ «Октябрьский». Самой трудной оказалась репетиция в БКЗ. Сложная акустика зала не позволяла мальчикам услышать друг друга и найти своё место в сложной и колоритной палитре симфонического звучания. Впрочем, мы предвидели эту трудность, и после репетиции с симфоническим оркестром провели на сцене свою акустическую репетицию с сопровождением рояля. Эта репетиция сыграла важную роль в подготовке к концерту.
Зрители «Титаник-LIVE» смогли по-новому прочувствовать трагическую историю любви Розы (Кейт Уинслет) и Джека (Леонардо ДиКаприо), развернувшуюся на фоне крушения гигантского морского лайнера. Однако на первый план всё же вышел один из самых узнаваемых и коммерчески успешных оркестровых саундтреков. Исполнение музыкального шедевра Джеймса Хорнера под управлением дирижёра из Великобритании — Нейла Уильяма Томсона в реальном времени синхронизировалось с видеодорожкой.
Рассказывает художественный руководитель концертного хора Вадим Пчёлкин: «Работа над проектом наполнила смыслом нашу музыкальную жизнь. Работа подарила нам много открытий и эмоций, мы жили предвкушением нового, необычного. Каждую репетицию, соприкасаясь с музыкой Джеймся Хорнера, мы чувствовали удивительное сочетание классики и современности. Особым событием стало знакомство и сотрудничество с замечательным музыкантом, дирижёром проекта — Нейлом Томпсоном. Это, безусловно, выдающийся дирижёр, музыкант мирового уровня, сотрудничество с которым доставило огромное удовольствие всем музыкантам. Особенно хочется отметить замечательную певицу — Элис Завадски. Она каждый раз абсолютно заслуженно срывала овации зала».
Благодаря эмоциональной поддержке зала, фильм-концерт стал настоящим событием в жизни города. Живые аплодисменты соединили несоединимое: застывшую на плёнке историю и рождающуюся на глазах у слушателей музыкальную симфонию.
Убеждены, что этот проект запомнится участникам нашего хора на всю жизнь.
