Утром мы посетили общеобра­зовательную школу и вы­сту­­пили перед немецкими школьниками и их учителями. На нашем маленьком концерте присутствовало около двухсот детей. Школьники слушали на удивление внима­тельно. Хор, невзирая на раннее утреннее время, пел очень чисто и слаженно. Программа нашего посещения школы предполагала сводную репетицию со школьным хором. По случайному совпадению для совместного разучивания была предложена песня «Баюшки-баю». Именно эту песню нам предстояло сегодня вечером исполнить вместе ещё с одним коллективом — мужским хором города Неке­рельц. Каждый мальчик получил нотную партитуру, которую пришлось без подготовки читать с листа. Чтобы наши певцы не ударили в грязь лицом, Юлия Владимировна тихонечко заняла место в партии альтов. Альты звучали прекрасно! Что же касается партии дискантов, то она заранее и очень хорошо была выучена немецким хором, поэтому двухголосие удалось почти сразу, и учительница музыки сияла от счастья. Герман Вавачек решил сде­лать мальчикам сюрприз и организовал для них посещение бассейна. Это было неожиданно и приятно. Бассейн забрал у детей все силы, все эмоции и голос. Чтобы хоть что-то из потерянного вернуть, после обеда был объявлен тихий час. (Баюшки-баю). Большинство детей с удовольствием погрузились в беззаботный сон. К вечернему концерту весь хор был в идеальной форме. Это высоко оценили слушатели католической церкви города Некерельц. Программа нашего выступления была очень компактной и ёмкой, так как мы были ограничены временными рамками, ведь перед нами уже около двадцати минут демон­стрировал своё мастерство мужской хор. Пока он пел, мы с детьми в спешном по­рядке доучивали «Баюшки-баю». Ведь именно этой песней завершался наш сегодняшний концерт. Под управлением немецкого дири­жёра мальчики грянули только выученное «Ба­ю­шки-баю» так, что вздрогнула вся церковь. Заснуть на этой колыбельной удалось не мно­гим.
